Enabling AI agents to Pay Taxes

The Remitian Developer Portal is live. The payment execution layer that AI agents build on to remit taxes is now open to every builder, self-serve.

Software can already figure out what a client owes. What it could never do was move the money. Remitting a tax payment, correctly, on time, to the right authority, was the one step that still ran through a human and a black box.

That step is now programmable. Today we are opening the Remitian Developer Portal, and with it, the execution layer AI agents use to pay taxes on behalf of firms.

An agent decides what is owed and instructs the payment. Remitian remits it to the authority, with the right firm authorization and a clean record of what happened. That is the piece the industry was missing, and it is the piece we built.

Here is what is open today, no support request, no conversation with our team:

  • Register an application and go live on your own timeline
  • Scope firm authorization so your agent only acts for the firms it should
  • Wire up signed webhook events with retries, so nothing gets lost
  • Manage your whole team from one place

Until now, every integration ran through us. Every access grant, every webhook, every application was a ticket. The Developer Portal hands that work to the builders, where it belongs, and turns tax payment into something an agent can do end to end.

"We are not far from a world where an AI agent handles a client's tax obligation end to end and executes the payment itself. Remitian is what makes that payment trustworthy. That is when a product becomes infrastructure." Solon Angel, Co-founder and CEO, Remitian

This is the beginning. The portal grows from here, and the surface your agents can build on grows with it.
