You Asked. We Shipped.
A release built from your feedback: Smart Approval, expanded extension payments, clearer payment status, and saveable views. Here's what's new.
The best feature requests don't come from a whiteboard. They come from someone three weeks out from a deadline, telling you exactly what's standing in their way.
So this release isn't a list of things we thought were cool. It's a list of things you told us you needed, and we shipped them in time for June 15.
Here's what's new.
Smart Approval: Stop Choosing Between Control and Speed
For too long, you had two options. Keep clients in the loop on every single payment, or cut them out entirely. One is slow. The other makes people nervous. Neither is great.
Smart Approval gives you the middle ground.
Clients opt in once. After that, they get notified on every payment, but they don't have to lift a finger to approve each one. They stay informed. You keep moving. Nothing sits blocked waiting on a client who's on vacation two days before a deadline. And you don't need to hold full power of attorney to make it work.
It runs alongside the taxpayer representative workflow, so you set the right level of client involvement for every relationship instead of settling for one rigid setting.

Extension Payments, Built for Volume
June 15 doesn't care that you're busy. Extension season means processing payments fast, at scale, without manual workarounds eating your afternoon.
We expanded extension payment coverage across federal and state, so the post April 15 work you asked us to support is finally in the product. We also added Florida F-1120, widening coverage for your business clients.

A Clearer Path to Filing
Two things that take the guesswork out of getting a payment out the door.
The IRS payment button is now clearer about what it does. And a new one screen jurisdiction checklist shows federal plus every state in a single view, so you can see exactly what's covered without hunting around.
Saveable Views: Set It Once, Forget It
Small annoyance, big payoff.
Your filters now stick. Date type, status, whatever you've dialed in, it persists across sessions and follows you between the dashboard and individual client views. No more rebuilding the same filter every time you click in and out.
You set it once. It's waiting for you when you come back.
Payment Status You Can Actually Trust
"Did that payment go through?" You know the email. We took aim at the reason for it.
Payment status is now clear through every step of the banking submission process. We also refreshed the status language itself, so a payment that's been sent now reads "Remitted to Tax Authority" instead of a vague "Submitted." Your clients can see where things stand, and your team stops fielding status check messages all day long.
To back that up, we added a bank account confirmation field and routing number validation so payments leave from the right account the first time, and payment history now shows the payment year at a glance.

This Is the Whole Point
None of this came from a roadmap drawn up in a vacuum. It came from firms in the trenches during the busiest weeks of the year, telling us what was slowing them down. We listened, we built, we shipped.
That's the deal. You tell us what's in your way, and we clear it.
Got something that's still bugging you? Tell us. The next release starts with your feedback.
